Once upon a time, I lived and loved in the mountains. I took my bath in the kitchen sink. I wandered about the acre and dreamed and made plans for hospitable benches and gazebos. I gathered wildflowers that grew of their own accord on my property and joyously arranged them in elegant vintage canning jars. I smiled at those flowers day after day, culled out the wilted and arranged the remaining ones for best effect. I had flowers on my table every day until November, and then I had pinecones. “But, that was once upon a time, very long ago.”
As of 2008; the cabin is on the market; For Sale
The original cabin was built circa 1930. Earliest land / deed documentation is dated 1904 and signed by Grover Cleveland.
The original building was 560 square feet including the kitchen which was once a lean-to built on a cement pad.

With the help of a few family members, we added on an additional 400 square feet in 2001. How do you like the view?
